    Thanks for responding and excellent news, win7 refused to boot on the B02 bios in UEFI mode, just BSOD before the installer launched properly. Flashed the B04 bios, as B05 causes win8 to BSOD when using the nvidia graphics (when running wei).

    My Android phones Nexus 7, S3, S4, Note 2, Note 3, Sony Z1 etc, connect fine to the W230ST. Have you tried updating the phone drivers on the PC? Or try a different USB cable.

    Hi, does the latest W230ST bios enable windows 7 to be installed on the W230ST in UEFI Mode?
