To bad I really would like to use OSx but without intel gpu there is no way to do that.

We all wanted to do something with the internal gpu but Lenovo being either incompetent or selfish made it impossible.

you can make clock shortcuts in nvidia inspector which makes switching even easier...just open the icon from your desktop. why go through all the trouble to unlock afterburner?

Might be a noobish question, but does anyone know if voltage control has been unlocked in this mod? I moved the voltage offset slider in nvidia inspector but the voltage didn't seem to change numbers in the left window (like when you change base and memory clocks).

Flashing instructions are found in svl7's pinned thread. I do not give support on flashing. Everything you need is there, read it thoroughly ! Don't forget to backup your original BIOS as it contains your Windows 8 serial key and Lenovo S/N

To make things easy paste your 'fptw64' folder in C drive. The directory will now be c:\fptw64. Open command prompt as administrator (important).

Type

cd c:\fptw64\

and then

fptw64.exe -d biosbackup.bin -bios

It will start backing up and the newly generated biosbackup.bin found in the fptw64 folder will be your bios backup.

I have a 650m SLI y500 and i wanted to know if it can use the same Bios fixer 2.0 that says the following (within the utility) to modify a fpt dump of my v2.02 bios?

Lenovo Y400 / Y500
 For BIOS version v2.04
 >> Drop your backup file here <<

It says including update for 2.02 & 2.03 users in the file name but i don't see separate bios fixers saying for v2.02 or v2.03.

Can the same be used? I actually made a mod of 2.02 with the v2.04 utility and flashed it without error. Now i want to know if i can proceed with using nvflash to flash the 650m ultrabay overclock mod (coz you mentioned ultrabay mod works only for v2.02 bios)?? Kindly reply as soon as you get time.
