  1. Hi Prema, Just to be sure on my bios upgrade.. there are basicaly 2 types of bios files for the P170EM. a 17_11 and 17_12. what is the difference? Might that also be why i'm not getting a vbios info line (if i use a 12 instead of 11 or vice-versa)? [offtopic] is there no PM system in this forum?
  2. @Prema: i only have the one line of text for the videocard ID. GTX675m. When i had the K2000M in it only said 'no vga'. Nothing more.
  3. @ Prema: I got your latets bios. bios:1.02.17PM v2 KBC/EC: 1.02.12PM and the bottom line in the bios screen says 2.15.1227 Prema. No idea where to find the vbios version. in the bootup screen somewhere? I currently have my GTX675m back in the laptop.
  4. Hi Prema, Thanks for the reply. But any ideas on how to get the K2000M operational on a P170EM? Thanks.
  5. Hello Prema, i found this tread and your bios on my hunt to get my Quadro K2000M working on my BTO 17CL46 / P1710EM. Unfortunately your 17t1 bios did not do the trick. The bios still can't find the K2000M. The nVidia drivers will not install either. MS W7-64 shows a generic VGA in the hardware list. but i can't upgrade the driver there either (also in safe mode). Any ideas on how to get the quadro to work? i gathered that the vbios on the quadro will not cooperate in a dual GPU situation (intel on chip gpu) could this be helped by disabeling the onboard and set the add on as discreet in het bios? I can't find anything on custom bios files for the K2000M.... There is a P170EM with a K3000M right. Any chance getting a hint from that bios file of k3000m fw file? thanks, Niels
