flashed the bios to my AW + 7970m, runs good, havn't noticed any changes so far. at lease the new BIOS is good for 680M AW owners adding turbo boost to their GPU along with OC ability.

agreed. i only wish they change the screen to a matte one with 1440x900 res and add a backlit kb like on more powerful models. also, while overclocking the temps can climb up to 87C even with thermal grease replacement, Sager should look at this issue as well. All in all this is one really great laptop for averyday usage)

yep, got it as soon as i read the vbios flash thread. sry) now just have to wait for the kb replacement and i'm ready to shoot for a ov vbios. the 7970m card work flawless for me, with stock voltage i'm gaming/benaching at 975/1560 at 68C i wonder if i can hit 1050/1560 stable... hmmm

that's a bummer) have a keyboard on my m17xr4 replaced in a week or so (i'm in Ukraine) cause i received my unit with few not functioning keys. And the only letter key that doesn't work is "P", so i can't flash in non-windows working environment, he-he! in windows i use on-screen keyboard, can't do that in dos!

hi, slv7. checked the checksum on my dell 7970m it says 0x5000, can i flash it to overvolted vbios with checksum 0x5700? tnx
