  1. Only IPS display options 1080p and 4k (except 120Hz TN)

    Better audio, internal and external

    No more dvd-roms

At least MXM gpu, we know Sager does what Intel desires about CPUs, it could be soldered in the future with no options

Little more modern design to compete with AW, MSI, Asus, no more flashing logos on touchpads

Better materials, like brushed metal at least

No less than 210W for 15" hi-end laptops, 240W and 330W for 17" seems fine

    Slimmer PSUs

Risky, but no HDD drives, couple of m.2 ssds with RAID option

Shareble HS for both CPU and GPU for single GPU machines with 3 slim fans (often CPU is way hotter the GPU)

If Skylake is around 100W desktop version than not much sense to make it work in 15"-17" laptops wthout overheats and thick design. So x99 18" with dual gpu seems like the only logic desktop cpu option, imho)

  2. let's just hope the 4K display won't be supper glossy and has 48Hz refresh rate like we saw on Lenovo! 980M + 4870HQ will be fine for 3K 15" but it's pretty sad it'll have "only" 4Gb of vram, probably the 17" brother will feature full 8Gb card and better PSU for overclocking, doesn't seem that Maxwell is much more efficient than kepler in high-end laptop segment

  3. kingkaan i don't know why your CPU score is that low but:

    1. I had 4810MQ CPU and windows 7 (on win 8 it could be a little lower)

    2. Also, played with XTU settings and lowered CPU cache and dynamic voltage by 80mv and raised core current to 100 for stock clocks

    3. Was using modded Prema bios with 4 cores at 4Ghz) Sprecial thanks to him as well!

  4. Special tnx to Klem for custom 870M vbios for P377SM-A. It has stock clocks with no turbo boost. I was able to get as high as 1032/3000, but anything higher than that resulted in system hang, even with increased voltage. Anyways, i reached 780M stock levels!

  5. how can i overclock my GTX780m in clevo p157sm using a custom oc tool, the msi afterburner shows wrong clock as 324 mhz instead of 771 mhz which freaks me out...help me out please

install the latest drivers and flash your GPU using the 780m vbios and unstructions provided on the first page!

Can anyone help me with this, please http://forum.techinferno.com/general-notebook-discussions/4635-bios-vbios-modification-request-thread-svl7-2.html#post66296

Are there any modified 770M vbioses fro Clevo laptops out there? Tnx

  6. Is your laptop on warranty? If so, try to contact your reseller or Sager directly and ask them to cross ship you the new HS while you send them yours. This is the HS problem, not the paste or pads! 780m on SM models peaks at 80C max during load, with fn+1 it should be around 72-75C.

Look at HTWingNut review at NBR forums, he was also able to OC 780m with no heat issues!

You can forget about upgrading gpu's on 3d laptops, really. It's possible only on AW laptops but even if you save 120hz there will be no 3D.

I know there're problems on upgrading gpu's on optimus/enduro based laptops, but why they are not wotking on clevo sli/cf laptops??
