Optimus + 3D output - possible or impossible

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I read a lot of forum threads about this topic but most of them are just confusing... On my P150EM ALL Displays are connected to the Intel HD Graphics. I can't use 120Hz; maybe via displayport...

When I try to activate Nvidias 3D-Tvplay, it says something like "the primary graphiccard does not support 3D vision".

BUT: The 120Hz are not nescessary for getting a 3D-Picture. It is also possible, to make a splitscreen and render the picture for the left eye on the left side and the one for thr right eye on the right side. 3D-example videos, you can download from the internet, use this techniqe, can be played by simply using VLC or WMP and the 3D-TV generates the correct fullscreen 3D-picture form that.

Is there a trick to use 3D-Vision via Optimus or any tool, that brings 3D-applications (games) to render the Content in such a splitscreen?
