KNGSNKE Posted May 10, 2016 Share Posted May 10, 2016 So I was testing my secondary GPU in the primary slot and when I powered on my laptop it smoked the HDD connector on my motherboard. I believe the motherboard is ok, I had the HDD connector in at a slight angle and that is where it burned. So I need a new connector for the motherboard. I should have the tools at work to swap out the connector, but I need someone with a bad motherboard for sale to sell me one. Let me know what you have.
