Megatron76 Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Hello every one I lucked out and bought an GT683DX brand new in box never used still in original box with plastic. The computer was part of an inventory of out of business shop. I want to upgrade to GTX 770M from the stock GTX 570m. After reading multiple forums and I purchased an MSI 770m card off eBay along with heat-sink for 770m, after small mod to one of the heat pipes it fits like the stock 570m heat sink. this is where I'm stuck after upgrading the EC firm ware and bios I put the 770m card and i hea the fans kickoff the hard drives start but the screen is blank. After ten seconds the backlight to the screen comes on but that's it. no option to enter Bios alt control delete don't work nothing. What do i do next?any help will be much appreciated.Edit: I researched the markings on the card and it turns out that its not an msi as advertized on ebay but a Toshiba Qasmio 3GB NVIDIA GTX 770M N14E-GS-A1 DDR5 MXM 3.0 GLP. now what are my options?
