Wanna Melee Posted May 12, 2015 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Hello forum members. Great knowledge on this site. Need some advice. Bought a Dell 680m and installed in MX15. New paste, pads and modded drivers. Have the A09 bios. Ran fine for 3 Days. Went to bench mark and 2nd run, screen went pink then white. I shut it down and let it sit for a while. Tried to reboot and nothing. 1 long beep and 2 short when booting. Then black screen and caps and scroll flashing. Would not post. Replaced harddrive and reinstalled 680m and black screen again. Installed 260m and everything is great. What can I do to the 680m? Is it a paperweight now? Temps was up to 71c with 80% of benchmark done? Thanks for you input? Thanks for you input?The exact same thing happened to me about a year ago. The card was a paperweight , but the guy I bought it from agreed to change it.
