Glossy screen phased out of sager np8xxx and respective clevo models. Why?

I was about to purchase a clevo P170sm-a but every us reseller says that the glossy screen is being phased out. Has anyone heard why they are being phased out? Pro star gave me a date when they will have a limited supply of 90% glossy but now i'm concerned. Is there a problem with these screens?

Should i snatch up the glossy screen when i have the chance or should i wait?

If the 4k super glossy screen being offered on the thin model will soon be available for the model i'm looking at i would very much like to wait. But i haven't heard anything suggesting that and i'd rather have the thicker chassis.
