Sirion
Hello, I'm owner of a MSI GT780DX laptop. There is no mDP or DVI-D port. Only HDMI 1.4 GPU 770m Is there ANY possibility to connect my notebook to external 120hz or 144hz monitor for example Benq XL2420Z and achieve that refresh rate at 1080p? I saw on one site, during system configurator to my notebook something like: so is it possible, or not? Sorry if wrong section.
d4nger
hey. of course if the HDMI slot supports 120Hz u will be able to plug in a 120Hz monitor but i cant say it to 100%.i remember if i bought my vg248 144hz for my AW18, first time i only had a hdmi cable and i wasnt able to run it at 144Hz, so i bought an mDP cable for it.i think u just need a monitor wich supports 120Hz on HDMI and not only on mDP.
