nevolen Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Hello recently i bought the new alienware 17 with i7-4700mq and AMD R9-M290X Graphics Card.i Successfully overclocked the CPU from BIOS and now it goes up to 3500MHZ with 4coresRegarding GPU i tried to flash new bios with vbe07 and atiflash but i got 8 beeps thanks to onboard haswell gfx i flashed back to stock bios but from there overclocking is limited mostly due to TDP restrictions my card is working @1050/1375 with temps in low 70s (Celclum) Is there any way to mod the UEFI bios of this card to allow a +20% in TDP?Thanks for your responses.
