I have just order an dell 7970m , i don't know the vbios type but with my luck it will be an 022 , i have an M17X R2 so it won't post , until here am i right ? So i need to change this vbios, i can't flash cause it will brick the card , right ? What can i do ? Can i swap physically the chip , i have some skill at soldering, it wont be a problem for me. Can i put the card on slave slot and flash it , does it change something or it will brick again ? I there a way to clear the vbios ? Desoldering the chip and put an hight voltage to one or two pin like EEPROM ? If someone can make sens with all of these , i will be very gratefull.
