rastor Posted February 11, 2014 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Hello,I have problem with my Lenovo y580. I try to run Intel RST with smart cache, unfortunatley RAID mode is required. I have unlocked BIOS. When I try set RAID in IDE configuration I'm all the time getting error and everything is back to normal (setting resets).I bought this laptop only with HDD. My extra SSD is connected in msata port.It is posible to run Intel Smart Cache from my build? How I should configure BIOS?Thx for help and sorry for my english. rastor Posted February 15, 2014 Author Share Posted February 15, 2014 As I know Intel RST require RAID 1, but it doesn't matter what RAID mode I chose.
