  2. I have finally managed to break the 700 points record in Uningine Heaven 4.0 Benchmark.

701 points @ 1257 (+199MHz from 1058MHz) MHz core clock; 2795MHz (+295MHz from 2500MHz) VRAM clock. Max temp reached 88C on both GPU. Average about 82C.

Settings are maxed out except AA. 1920 x 1063 2x AA windowed mode. For some reason the latest Nvid driver screws up exclusive fullscreen. I am running 320.18, and I also have a 240W ac adapter.

This is 1256MHz core, 2780MHz VRAM. 700 points.

  3. If the file name contains the 'mem' tag or '2500mem' or something similar that means the memory is overclocked.

The ones without dont have overclocked memory.

Watch out though with ocing. At 1100mhz core and 2500 memory im already using 150w from the wall at peak moments with my i5- 3210m running prime 95 at the same time. Most of the time i sit around 110-120 w

Can i overclock my own with files doesnt have tags with mem or 2500mem

I wish to have overvolt and my custom clocks

Which file should i flash bro?

    Sorry for xtra noobism :D

  6. Don't worry Usraek,The Gt 750m is an overclock version of Gt650m but still Gt750m support latest opengl but I think that is not the problem for gamers LOl,Gt650m can easily overclock pass 1Ghz XD

hope to be true. just purchased y500 with 650m soon after one week lenovo started selling the ones with 750m. Disappointed

Omg if i would known that definitely i might wait to get it.

If only overclocking is a difference i am happy to overclock...

    Will someone clear on this?

is 750m still powerful than 650m(when clocked to same 750m speeds)??

  7. Check If u selected "optimized for battery health" option in lenovo battery management app. If its enabled then it wont exceed u 60%(by showing you plugged and not charging) and it wont let u charge even u unplug and plug again...

You need to change to "maximum battery life " option for full charge upto 100%

  8. Do you have single GPU or SLI? You need only the modded BIOS if you have single GPU since it already includes the vBIOS unlock for the internal GPU. The separate vBIOS flash is to unlock the OC limit for the Ultrabay GPU and unnecessary if you don't have it.

Nvidia Inspector is a GPU monitoring and overclocking tool. Another popular one is MSI Afterburner. It really doesn't matter what you use as long as the tool supports your GPU.

There are tons of overclocking guides out there so Google it. It basically involves bumping up the core and memory clocks individually by small increments, such as 10 MHz, until you experience any instability or graphical corruption. Going too high won't make your system unbootable. The most that can happen is the display driver will crash and recover itself at stock clocks. If you go slow and use small increments that usually won't happen; you'll gradually see freezing and/or artifacts in your 3D app and that's when you know it's time to dial it back a bit. The guides explain it a lot better than we can and I suggest you check them out.

Very thankful to u octcips...you helped me out in both forums...

    Thank u alot bro

  9. I had flashed modded bios v2.02 already couple of days back...

Now i am intend to overclock my single gt650m... do i need to flash vbios through dos bootable usbdisk or...no need of flashing anything??

And which tool do i need to use for overclocking? is nvidiainpector a tool?

And how can i know the stable clocks...if i uses unstable clocks system may not boot i think...in that case how can i revert back to stock clocks?

Please let me know these things...:)

  10. I did what you said, added admin in the compatibility section of fpt64 and then ran backup.bat, but it didn't make a bin file. The command prompt pops up for a second then closes so fast taht I can't read any of it.

    Just do wat i said

    Extract fptw64.zip file

    Goto fptw64 folder

    Right click on fptw64.exe

    Open properties

In compatibility tab CHECK run this program as an administrator...click apply/ok

Now run bat file normally(not as administrator)

  11. Glad to help.

If you saved a backup of your stock BIOS per svl7's instructions then you can flash that to go back to it. Make sure you turn on 'BIOS back flash' in the BIOS menu before you do. But I don't see why you would ever want to go back; the modded one is just so much better.

Yeah bro i know it too ..that modded bios is better...if its not why would i flash...

I am asking to revert for a purpose...in future if suppose lenovo updated its bios to 2.03 or something else..slv7 also will update bios respectively ..in case should i revert back to stock and flash the modded bios again or can i update to modded bios directly. ..then a doubt raised in mind 'if i need to revert back then am i able to revert back to stock again or not' so asked... :D

If i dont have any backup can i flash stock bios directly?

And i had onemore doubt...am i able to overclock my single gpu...since there is guide to overclock only for sli(dual gpus)

Will u let me clear on that?:)
