if thats the case, consider urself lucky, since dell cards are known NOT to work in clevo machines

yes. able to boot window. i saw on other topic it need a proper vbios. too bad prema not here to help mod the vbios.

I installed it and it won't post. hang on sager logo then after 3 beeps it boot into window. i tried all the vbios at that link. also same thing. i believe it is a vbios issue. does anyone have dell k3000m vbios for clevo?

I upgraded the mxm graphics card in my clevo p150hm from gtx 485m to dell k3000m.

After the upgrade the booting behavior of the notebook was strange..

The bios screen does not complete when detecting hardware 

It shows the AMI logo and one line of text "AMIBIOS © 2010 American Megatrends, Inc." 

It does nothing for 30 seconds, then beeps once. 

Again it does nothing for 30 seconds then beeps once. 

And again it does nothing for 30 seconds then beeps once. 

Then it shows a flashing white cursor at top left of black screen for about 3 seconds. 

The cursor then drops down a few lines then Windows begins to boot. 

Please help me to solve it.

my gtx485m on p150hm just fried. thinking of putting k5000m on it. how was it now? is dell k5000m compatible?

frankly speaking. anybody should repaste it. my temp drop around 10C and 5C after i repaste.

i read somewhere else 780m only faster than 680m around 15%.

using cm notepal u3. it's only drop around 1-2 C.
