  1. I'm confused, what Acronis software did you use?

    Disk Director seems to be incompatible with Windows 8

    Acronis Disk Director 11 Home (English)

    supports Microsoft® Windows® 7, Windows Vista®, and Windows XP. Windows 8 is not supported.

    Did you use Acronis True Image?

    Can you explain with more details? Did you backup just after lenovo's fresh install?

  2. This is to everyone who owns or has experience with Y500....My GT 650M is shown to be connected with PCI-E 2.0 8X bus interface ....is it the same for all Y500 or is it just mine.CPU Z Shows that my motherboard is capable of PCI-E 3.0 16X but using 8X bus interface

    TITAN will have 14 of them enabled for a total of 2688 shaders and 224 texture units. Clock speeds on TITAN are a bit lower than on GK104 with a base clock rate of 836 MHz and a Boost Clock of 876 MHz.
