I have 770 SLI lightning. I was able to achieve 780 SLI stock performance.

Both gpus died . Im waiting for my laptop to get shipped back to me now and see what happen.

at 1.025? 0.0 is your card one of the newer ones with vbios 021 / 022?

Thank you MrFox. im running my 3720qm at 3.98ghz @ 4 cores 24/7 and 7970 at 100+/300+ at stock volts 24/7. Its stable and cool. Do you think running the XM at 4.4ghz or 4.5ghz with everything else at stock including fan profiles possible without overheating? Normal usage and gaming.

Dell on m18x and it was on stock. Temps never exceeded 70. It just died for no reason.

Happened to me last week. One card failed on me, it did the same thing it did to you. It can run at low performance such as on battery but it cant run for more than 10 sec on high performance. It just freeze the computer. I had to hard reset.

I recommend you to use your warranty and change the gpu

Thanks. I am able to increase voltage now. Increased it to 1025 from stock 975 without problems.

Any disadvantages to this method over flashing vbios?

what xml are you talking about. I unlocked overdrive using -xcl method in AB but what is the name of the file and where to find it?? thanks
