Thank you! I was wondering about this as well. I'm kinda dreading to see how much ASUS caked it on... Should I use rubbing alcohol to wipe it off or just wipe it off dry?

Tried that, still no response. I guess I'll just go with the one that I found on ebay. Wish I could fit one of those new Nvidia Titans into this thing.

Sounds like there is a lot of love for the Sasger (Clevo). That may be my next upgrade after my G73jh bites the dust. Are they easier to upgrade than the ASUS lines?

I'm going to attempt to upgrade my GPU by following this guide in about a few months. While I have experience with swapping components in a tower, I have never done it with a laptop. I have taken apart my G73jw before (to give it a really good cleaning), and managed to not break anything, so I guess I have that going for me...
Seems that the crew at MXM-upgrade.com are not replying to their email, or they are so inundated with requests that it takes them a while to get back to you. I'm going to have to get the card off of ebay I guess.
Any other words of wisdom outside of the guide that would be helpful to me?

I've got two questions. Since the motherboard doesn't conform to the MXM screw placement, and you used tape to hold the card down, is there any major issues with the card coming loose? I would assume the heat sink would help with that issue. Also, would you have to constantly paste in the modified ini file everytime you update the drivers?
