Have you tried the onekey recovery button instead of the power button? That gives you a boot menu where you can select BIOS straight up.

Yeah orc i try it, but nothing just after 2 second the laptop shutdown itself and nothing more. Not even a single lenovo logo or something. The keyboard start lightning the hdd spin up then the all system just shut down

I disconnected everything includung the hard drive and I even changed the ram...ughhhh... Think I may need a board

I do the same but Still nothing. Its just unbelivable one bios settings can damage the whole machine like this

There's a "Load Optimized Defaults" option in EXIT menu.

Just dont forget to set "Legacy Support" after loading defaults and set your OS drive on top of the list.

I cant even enter to the bios. the laptop just shutdown before i can do anything.

I asking your helps I got a y500with 1.1.0 bios version. I flash it a years ago now without any problem. But now I am just checking the options on the bios try to enabled the internal gpu, I reamove the ultrabay and playing with the settings in the internal graphics option. And now when I hit the power button the laptop starting then after 3 second shut down then repeat. I cant find any way to reset the bios to the default settings thats why I asking to your helps guys.

I have exactly the same problem with my y500 like Lizzo. looking for some1 who can help resetting the bios.

yepp I have i7 + gt650m sli version and no driver issues so far. I playing lol with vsync enable btw. I think u need to call lenovo support for more info:/

Hello I have the same problem. In msi afterburner I can set +135 mhz on core clock but when I am apply the settings the core NEVER go over the default clock.

Anyone have a solution?

damm I have another probable bad question. This topic is for m14x R2, but I have Lenovo y500. ( and I wanna say sorry if Iam doing offtopic now ) So if I am reading in this topic and the download link ( Downloads ) will be fix'd the bios in the link will be good for me or I need to search other bios, coz its just for m14x R2.

Hey guys I am really newbe here.I have Lenovo y500 with gt650m sli. I wanna do some oc. but I can only via nvidia inspector bat file by forcing to p2. If i running msi afterburner, the program allow me to oc +135mhz on core but if i do it the core still dont go above 790mhz
