Seems like we need an unlocked BIOS for the 100% fan speed. BSOD is (most of the time) driver issue. Modded driver needed? I am about to change a dead GTX 670M to a 6970M using the heatsink of a GX70. Can't wait to test this!!

Hello here !

I am interested for the unlocked BIOS of MSI G series. I own a GT60 2OC (works perfect!!) and I have a friend who's own a GT70 0NC with the FAN issue because his GTX 670M died in the last year. Recently, I bought a heatsink for a GX70 because I have a 6970M (I don't want to mod the current heatsink in case we use it in the future) . Anyone have experience with GT70 and an AMD card? And overclocking?

The OC question is maybe not in the right post/forum but where I can ask this queston?

Do you think the unlocked BIOS will resolve the 100% fan issue?

Ok, thank you for these informations. But I will can use the software ThrottleStop with this modded BIOS? As I can read. I already OC my 7970M 900/1400 works perfectly and 76 degres.

I am interested about the unlocked BIOS for MSI GX60. I have actually a MSI GX60 1AC-012US that I cannot Overclock or use PSCheck to force Turbo to 2.7GHz for some reasons that I don't know, Is this unlocked BIOS will have the option to Overclock like I want (Multiplier to choose, FSB, Voltage,etc)? Is my HD 7970M and APU 7660g will work without problems?
