Any results on "Y580 8.01 bios no whitelist"? I am willing to help out any way that I can (ie dump, etc) Thanks!

I get the error: Load file: New rom size does not match this platform.

Then again I was the one who couldnt rip the bios, so lets wait to see what others come up with.

Here's a mod based on the 5DCN90WW v8.01 dump which you guys provided - WWAN / WLAN check removed, unlocked.

Flash with the included InsydeFlash utility. If it doesn't allow to flash, let me know.
