Like i said the machine is bios locked with a supervisor password i dont have a programmer so i short it pin 5-6 SCL SDA but the bios will not unlock....so im wounder if u can do this in a thinkpad T440s or u need a programmer to do it maybe the machines has another security feature that does allow shorting out the chip or the bios is bricked this is why i cant short it out....im looking for any suggestion of what the issue can be.

I will post this again sense i cant find my previous post....i have a thinkpad T440s bios locked i try shorting the chip on the mobo but it will not unlock in this models can u short out the chip or u need a programmer to grab the dump to unlock it....thank u

Hello i have a thinkpad T440s bios locked i dont have a programmer i try to short the pins on the security chip on the mobo with no luck can the password be clear this way in this machine or do u need the programmer to do it thank u.
