  1. Well, I tried to flash these roms in DOS with a bootable USB, using AtiFlash, but nothing happened!

I tried once, using the nVIDIA but i got a message: "not correct adapter".

I tried, using the ATI, doing all the process, but again I couldn't enter my desktop.

I should inform you, that when I'm in DOS with the ATI, screen becomes blank after some minutes. I noticed it, when I was trying to flash BIOS via USB...

  2. I do have HD3650 512MB DDR2 and HD3650 256MB GDDR3, but I don't think that either one is going to work for you. Another not-so-smart one - are you sure it's DDR2? You can check the serial number of the vRAM and make sure which type it is.

    Sorry, now I see it!

The ATI is DDR3, while the nVidia is DDR2. My fault!

    What can I do?

  3. First of all, sorry for my English!

I have an Acer Aspire 5920g with the VGA: nVidia 8600m GS. 'Cause the overheating, I decided to change my VGA. After some research, I found that the VGA: ATI Mobility HD 3650 DDR2 256mb would fit perfect. I bought one (with Acer vBIOS included) and when I received my card, I put it on.

    The problem starts here:

I can see the BIOS and the logo "Windows Corporation" (Win Vista), but when my laptop enters the desktop screen, my screen is blank. It has the led light on, I can hear the Windows intro music and some other sounds that my programs do, but my screen is black. I took another same card, but the problem still exists. I tried to switch an external monitor, but I have the same problem!

I found an "acer3560.rom" that supposed to change my BIOS, so my new ATI would work perfectly, but when I flash it, I have this notification:

    • Corrupted interface descriptors in the new BIOS file.
    • Part Tablet Signature not found in the Interface.
    • Error code: -161

I really need your help, 'cause I need my laptop for my work...

    Thank you!
