  1. No, no lights no fans spinning or anything. But when disconnecting the gpu my laptop works just fine just with the integrated graphics.
    Have esata connector but no display port.

    i add some pictures. the green card is the older one u can see at the bottom right, u can see its burned.

  2. Hi. My previous 670m card died, burned out when connected to the pci port.
    So ordered 980m card. Adjusted heatsink, have the correct bios and firmware for the 980m card but my problem is as follows.

     

    The laptop works fine when no GPU is connected to the pci port. But when i connect the 980m the pc wont turn on at all with/without battery. Tried ac reset, bios reset etc.

    Also my charger is blinking when i connect it with GPU connected to board.

     

    Anyone have a clue what is wrong here, PCI port dead?
     

    Worst case scenario I wonder if im able to use an egpu adapter connected to mini pcie port to use my 980m and if so how much performance loss?
