A big thanks for this post. I've followed this guide but instead of the 680m, I'm applying it to the 770m. 
Currently, I'm stuck at the +135mhz core overclock but I didn't oc the ram though. I'm still waiting on better thermal pads so I can push the card further.

With a repaste, I get 80c max on the gpu and 86c max on the cpu. My ambients are in the 27-30c though lol. The climate here is hot.

Thank you for the plethora of information in this thread. I'm planning on upgrading my 770m to 900 series gpu so I'm reading up on what I can. It's interesting what an unlocked bios can do for a system.  IHoping I can do the same mods in the future.

I recently got a gt60-20C. I've always had a thing for mods and making the most of my machine.
Currently, it has a 770m (at this day and age lol) and I'm planning on upgrading it's mxm card soon.

Thank you for this. I'm rummaging through posts like these to get ideas on how to proceed. I recently purchased a gt60 and am planning on upgrading the gpu soon. 

I recently acquired a Gt60 for cheap! I'm still learning all about the tweaks that can be done. Hoping for the best.
