noob question... you got any guide on how to do a backplate mod? Im using an msi gt60 and i removed the gpu bracket. The brackets are not compatible with msi laptops (gpu cannot be inserted with the gpu brackets) not like alienware nb.... Thanks

I also reach 90 in BF3, turning the turbo fan lowers it to 75. I recommend using it while gaming!

I'm getting something like a coil whine with the msi 1.037 vbios. Is that an indicator to revert?

Yeah it has exceptional graphic details (the game engine again seems like it could be ahead of its time), but so far Crysis series had IMO, at best, mediocre gameplay. Play Fallout or Far Cry 3 and you'll see what I mean. In the worst case, I hope others can make something cool with that kind of graphic engine.

I also wish EA has improved the multiplayer system. From what I've seen, it wasn't quite enjoyable in Crysis 2. I want a game that's not just a couple of hours long. Take battlefield 3 for example, I've been playing the multiplayer not giving me the chance to finish the single player until now.

FYI, This VBIOS did NOT work on my MSI 680M. I flashed and restarted, and my card was not detected. Looks like it only works on Clevo systems.

Its really mindblowing where games are right now in terms of graphics.

I wonder what the stock voltage of the MSI 680Ms is. I am facing lower scores with overclocking, so I'll see what the unlocked VBIOS and overvolted VBIOS act. Also, is 1.037 too dangerous for everyday usage?

Turn up cpu or gpu clocks? If the gpu, you need the unlocked vbios.

So I have an MSI gt60 0NE w/680M

Stock 3D mark scores are normal, but as soon as I turn up the clocks they actually get lower. I tried it with throttle stop and the same results were there.

Any ideas?
