So i did both and its no longer 6 beeps but 8 beeps

the computer boots if im using the hdmi out to a monitor but without the hdmi i get 8 beeps no post

So, if i upgrade from my 660m to a 1060, my 3D screen wont be 3D (which i dont want 3D)? Also, I just installed a 3D screen on my m17x r4 (as a "get ready" step for this) which currently has a 660m card in it and Im getting a 6 beep error whenever i try to turn on my laptop. Will that problem be fixed if i upgrade to a 1060?
