Just as the subject states I'm curious at what nVidia driver version they actually added in that setting as I used to have to use other means to switch between limited and full.

no no no . the hotfix driver is even worse....i went back to 345 20 as well.
Are the 345.20 drivers considered the best drivers last released? I'm running 2 580M's in SLI if that makes a difference.

I do not trust HP laptops in general. I was in a similar situation once. Friend of mine had a HP and I got a Dell inspiron (Can't remember the model, it was a looong time ago, 6+ years). HP is currently in the laptop heaven and the old Dell still works as it should (For the hardware it has inside). Why not have two small laptops then? Small is beautiful and handy
Agreed, I have friends that have had to get new laptops that previously had HPs... While I have as well it was by choice as both my old laptops are still alive and well (Both Dells). In fact, I'm still using one as a makeshift entertainment NAS

I can confirm this setup works nicely. I have a simple SSD functioning as a storage for both, OS and the files. No trouble, system boots up lightning fast, overall work experience is better than with a normal HDD
Agreed had one in an old Dell e1705 and the difference was very noticeable! Fast forward some years and I now have one in my M18xR1 and even with the better setup it's still as notable of a change! Especially the boot up time!!
[Alienware - Clevo - MSI] Aftermarket Upgrades Driver Support - Modded INF

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I wanted to try out your drivers and have a M18Xr1 with 2 Clevo 780M's. Do I use the .INF from the Alienware or Clevo section?
Also do I need to set PEG in my bios or do those instructions just apply to the newer systems with the Optimus stuff?
