looking to buy Intel 545s SSD 256GB. Does anyone have that SSD model installed? any issues?

Does this laptop supports DDR3 1.5V with default bios? I want to order 2x8gb DDR3 1.5V from Elpida (ebj81ug8bbu0-gn-f)

hi, is there any way I can allocate less memory to hd 4000 video card? It get's like 2 Gb but uses only about 400 max. Didn't find such an option in bios.

Could you please tell me if this one will fit? After my research on this thread people say yes. However on description of that ebay product they say it will not work on HP:

BIOS: Standard (Fit all brand laptop except IBM/HP/Lenovo/ Samsung)
Note: only works on Dell, Toshiba, Acer, Sony, Samsung and Asus laptops equipped with a PCI-Express Half-Mini Card slot but NOT on IBM/Lenovo/HP Laptops

If you can wait, I would recommend waiting for the Acer Aspire X 15 or Lenovo Y520. Both are coming out soon, and will use significantly better quality (IPS) displays.

I think mechanical keyboards are totally a personal preference.

It won't improve your gaming, just like how leather seats won't make your driving better, but they still make your car look great and are oh-so-comfortable to sit in, and there's definitely something to be said about that.

I use Sennheiser PC350. Best gaming headset I've owned, came from a Logitech g430. People I play games with say I come in loud and clear.  The one thing I would recommend is to get some replacement earpads. The ones on the headset have that cheap thin pleather .

I heard a lot of good things about Ring central. However I don't think they offer a free/trial version.

Just watched Live by Night. Good movie. It remind me of boardwalk empire series and I decided to view it again.

I'm very excited about this all, I've been waiting years for this thing ever since it was called the NX and now I've finally placed a pre order and can't wait to play it on March 3rd.

However I wonder would the screen scratch over time when put into the dock?

Hi there. I noticed in OP that 2570p supports AC Wireless. I would like to buy a intel ac wireless card. I see on ebay that they are just wifi or wifi+bluetooth. I'm kinda confused. From what I know 2570p has bluetooth and wifi separately right? Mine is a 3360M cpu (A1L17AV). Could someone point me to a compatible AC card on ebay? I'm afraid not to chose a non compatible one.
Also, in order to install that AC wireless card so I need to make any bios update or something?
