W530 + 1060GTX
in DIY e-GPU Projects
Posted · Edited by Sylvain60
computer: lenovo W530 + 8Gb + SSD evo 512 (MBR) + 3720QM
igpu: HD4000
dgpu: k2000m
egpu: MSI 1060 GTX Gaming X 3G
os: win10 64bits
drivers: nvidia 372.70
PSU: corsair RM550
adapter egpu:
- GDC v8 (express card) : PWR ON - PTD (center 75)
- PE4C V3.0 (express card) : PWR ON - SW1(1) - SW2 (2)
bios:
- igpu, dgpu, optimus activate
- legacy only
- no virtualization intel
setup 1.31:
- dGPU off
- egpu port gen2
- compaction igpu + egpu with 56gb and only egpu in 32bit
Hi,
Actually I cant use PE4C. I cant load setup 1.31 (error) to correct the error 12.
With the "Beast" after a lot of try now I can use the external monitor on the EGPU.
But :
Sometimes need desable and enable the GTX to detect the monitor
Sometimes windows start with error 43 need desable and enable the GTX to resolve
I can only use the DVi, with the DP(displayport), windows reboot after 30sec
Windows reboot (blackscreen and rebbot) a lot of times
I succeed a bench with 3D mark (fire): 8059 pts
- graphics (9517 pts, 44.5fps, 38.67fps)
- physics (8987 pts, 28.53fps)
- combined (3499 pts, 16.28 fps)
Do you thinks the result are correct for the config ?
Actually the system is too unstable (reboot all 15min, only DVI, monitor detection unstable, sometimes error 43) ... do you see why ?
thanks
