eGPU for a Dell inspiron 7559
in DIY e-GPU Projects
Posted
I don't know much about GPUs and I've been doing a little research because I want to make my laptop VR ready. I now know that I can't simply switch out the graphics card in a laptop so I think my only solution is an external card. My laptop stays plugged in most of the time, I only take it to class and sometimes a friend's house.
Heres the specs
Computer: Laptop, Dell Inspiron 7559 Signature edition
GPU: GEFORCE GTX 960M
CPU : i7-6700HQ 2.60 GHz
RAM: 8Gb
OS: Windows 10, Build: 14393.693. 64 Bit
i would just like to know if it'd be worth it to have a eGPU setup instead of building a whole PC. Thanks!
