What does that mean work with 4k resolution?

macbook is only 2880 so why would u want 4k???

the secondary monitor at 1080 is good enough for this solution right??

Hi I have a mid 2012 macbook retina and just bought the akitio,  gtx1070 and a dell power supply.

Since i have the mid 2012 will i have the error 12 issue!?

And i wanted to play on internal display.  is it really that easy? Its look more trouble then its worth? What do you think?

So before i purchase everything including the dell power supply the Akitio and the GTX1060 here are my questions:

1. Will I have issues getting this to start with Windows 10 on my Mid 2012 retina? I see so many people have issues getting this to start or having some voddu way to make it work.

2. I travel for work so i plan to take this with me either in my suitcase or laptop bag so play games in the hotel. Is this my best option? Obviously better option is to buy a new laptop with a GTX1060 or 1070 but what do you guys think. Is this too much to make it work?

thanks. will hold off on ordering until i get more info on the node. if it works with the tb3 to tb2 adapter might be the better way to go and to future proof. I also have a GTX980ti sitting at home that i can use for this and looks like a nice way to use without modifying anything.
