Still, one question: Do I need to do the whole nvflash procedure if I don't intend to overclock the GPU (I have the SLI setup)?
1This is something that I would also like to know. Because I could care less about the other mod features all I need is the whitelist removed.

1I tried your fix but all I seem to get is
Error 75 andError 201. After looking into it. Some y510p reject FPTW64 and doesn't allow it to work. The alternative supposedly is to use the Universal bios backup toolkit which looks a lot easier to use than FPTW64the problem is I can't find a download anywhere. If anyone knows where to find a working link please link it to me.I also heard that Backup tools 12 is another FPTW64 alternative if anyone can find a download link of that. As it has also magically been wiped off the internetalong with the Univeral Bios Backup Toolkit.UPDATE:
I found the Universal Bios Backup toolkit. The problem is it gives me a .rom and not a .bin.
What do I do now?
Or how do I fix the FPT 201 Error? It says that it is not operational on my platform.
Please help.

So, I have been dealing with Bios issues for awhile now.
I have been getting errors 201 and 280 with FPTWT
Error 201: "cannot be run on the current platform.
Please contact your vendor."
Error 280: "Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space!"
so I used FPT_Backup_95 instead and was able to get a .bin file however it also gave me error 26.
Error 26: "The host CPU does not have read access to the target flash area. To enable read access for this operation you must modify the descriptor settings to give host access to this region."
So with the .bin file I got with FPT_Backup_95, I put it into the bios-fixer and it gave me no errors and I got a v305mod.bin without any problems. I'm just concerned that if I use the .bin I could brick my Y510p because of a problem with the .bin file because of error 26.
Anyone solutions?
If I uploaded my .bin file is it possible for someone to look at it and verify that it is not corrupt?
