Yeah, I got it with 8gb RAM, HD+ screen and backlit keyboard too. The cpu itself is around 130 bucks so I am thrilled about this purchase. Probably gonna swap out the RAM since it only runs at 1333mhz.

I just got an E6430 off of Ebay for 350. It comes with i7 3740qm so I think it is quite a good deal

Hi guys, I am a total noob when it comes to tech. I just got my E6430 and it comes with a set of 2x4gb RAM running at 1333mhz. I would like to upgrade to a new ram set with 16gb as well as getting them to run at 1600mhz or higher. Is there a specific set of ram out there that would be "plug and play" kind of setup without tweaking it to run at 1600mhz or higher ? Thank you very much

I am just looking to buy a laptop that will last me as long as possible without becoming obsolete in the upcoming years

Hi guys, I am considering one of the two laptops mentioned above. I am not sure which one has more options for upgrading later and which one runs cooler once I decide on throwing in a 45w quad cpu in there. Anyone has any thought about this ? Thank you very much
