Am I the only one who loves the glossy screen? Yeah, reflections are annoying, but the colors are so vibrant in comparison with matte or anti-glare screens. The anti-glare screen protector on my other m18xr1 makes the screen look like crap IMO.

And yeah OP...Alienwares kinda rip through games like butter, without even breaking an e-sweat.

Just ordered my friend an m17xr4 with the specs maxed out (aside from storage and RAM, which were ordered seperate), and got $500 the final price with some smooth talking .

I'm on Kingston HyperX @ 1866. You'd be better off going with the 1600mhz model, because Alienwares maximum processor transfer speed with RAM is 1600mhz. That's the hardware limit, so it won't go any faster than that.

Aww, what a shame. I was going to order a set of the 7970s and swap them with the 680ms, because I thought AMD got the drivers right this time around . I hate having to adjust 1500 settings and find the right driver just to play a game. But my, do I love the clock speeds on the AMDs <3.
