hi guys and girls,

 

just purchased a factory refurbished 2014 model 18. 

when I enable overclocking in  bios at any lvl 1,2 or 3 it will not load into windows and comes up with "windows unrecoverable error" and restarts. I found limited info on this, possibly lag of the fans.

Has anyone been down this road before and has some links to a fix.

standard it sits at 3.1ghz and 3.5ghz turbo. seems a long way shy of the 4.4ghz dell proclaimed.

 

any help would be great cheers

 

Also Another question is it possible to run 2 different gpu's in an 18? like a 980 and a 770? 

Hi Guys. Is it possible to see a list of compatible cpu's for my motherboard.  Also was wondering if a motherboard from a 18 R3 will fit in my 18 R1 2013 model. Also if so would it be a worthwhile upgrade? Sorry if this is stupid I am pretty new to Hardware stuff.

Quick question guys. Can i put a motherboard from a 18 r3 into an 18 r1?? cant seem to find much on google. The chassis appear the same. Any help would be great.

Hi guys looking for some help. I have a 17 x r4 with the 3d screen and gtx680m. My question is: can i still use 3d if i upgrade to any of the higher gtx 7-980m cards. I want to do the upgrade but i am a bit less excited if i loose 3d capabilitys.
