Yesterday, I booted it up and all the fans started working at full speed. Then I plugged it into the computer and nothing happened. After restarting, the fans slowed down but still nothing. Can you guys point me to right direction?

i got a small update. I tried all the possible positions on the two switches on the adapter, but unfortunately again, with no results. I also update my bios from A8 to A22. Sad to say, that also didn't work. Are there severe problems with my setup? Do I need to read some extra material or is the eGPU software required to make this setup work?
