Yeah, I just saw same on a IT news internet magazine.
I tried MacOS on my 2570p and it was working great.
But I was not able to successfully configure triple boot - MacOS/Win/Linux.
Well, it was booting but not every time...

My i5-3320m arrived yesterday and i replaced the i7.
So I can comfirm that the memory controller inside i7-3632qm can't handle the 2133MHz RAM.
i5-3320m booted with my 2133MHz RAM just fine and it is working fine.
I use this notebook very rare and the hardest task is Diablo III.
So, what do you think guys - which combo should I choose i7-3632qm+1600 RAM or i5-3320m+2133 RAM?
I think I answered myself.

I ordered cheap i5-3320m.
It will arrive in 3 weeks and I will test it with my 2133 MHz memory.

At least two people have this ram, me and Aikimox. It works perfect.
Do you have 1800 or 2133?

I'm not even able to enter in BIOS. After I press power button - black screen only.
And two blinking buttons - Shift and the first button after F12.
The RAM modules are OK, they are now working in my NAS at 1600MHz - the motherboard only support up to that speed.
Maybe some settings needs to be enabled in BIOS? But I can't find anything related to RAM speed...
My processor is i7-3632QM. RAM kit is 2x4GB, not 2x8GB.
I just checked my BIOS version - F.34.
Maybe it is too old?
Any ( specific for 2570p ) risks when updating to the latest BIOS?
I'll check motherboard number tonight.
Well, the first 2 digits are hard to read ( they are both 6 or 8 ) so if I use your SN for reference, mine has to be 685404-001.

Well, I just updated my BIOS - no change. Defaults restored.
My 2570p still only gives 3 blinks ( Module error not functional ) and can't even enter BIOS.
Tried both memory modules with only one inserted in the notebook - same blinks.

define "won't boot" ? Does it power-on with it? Can you run memtest? Cause it sounds like faulty RAM to me.

Hi guys,
I recently purchased this ram kit from Amazon Corsair CMSX8GX3M2C2133C11.
But mine 2570p won't boot with it.
If someone can put this info in first page, I think it could be useful.

Well, this is the most desired upgrade for all of us, imo.
But as far as I know, no one succeeded yet.

To be competely honest I don't remember what was the card when the notebook came.
I was experimenting with Hackintosh and I bought this card from ebay - AzureWave Broadcom BCM94352HMB 802.11ac.
It was listed as supported by Apple, and I also recently upgraded my home router.
Both windows 7 and 10 works great with this network card and thanks to the AC speeds I'm able to watch 1080 movies from my PC over wifi.
BUT, I didn't updated my BIOS on purpose - I'm not sure if this card is going to work with the latest BIOS.
I think there are no wifi blacklist with the current F.34 BIOS on my notebook.
So, just buy another network card and try.
Cheers

Well, win10 is working like a charm, no problems at all.
I still visit this topic with the hope that someone found decent 1600x900 or even FHD IPS display for 2570p.
Yes, I know I'm dreaming, but this little techno-gem deserves better screen.

Yes,
you can install hackintosh on 2570p, I tried myself.
But the triple boot ( Hackintosh, Win 10, Ubuntu ) was not working stable.
The best place to start is here.
