Good news for Apple and those who won't bother to DIY an eGPU themselves.

Considering the past records, Apple would again charge badly on those stuffs.

Finally the script worked for me after I disabled SIP, the SIP messed up my home brew, Latex and some other things. Apple meant to put security in it, but end up made it really a inconvenience.

Did you figure out how to install Windows 8.1 in the EFI mode? I have a macbook pro 2011 13'' w/ dual SSD configuration, and my eGPU (GTX 750Ti + Akitio) won't work for Windows system.

I had the same problem. (macbook pro early 2011 13'' + ATikio + Windows 10)

The eGPU runs just fine under Mac OS X. It just won't work in windows.

It that possibly because I didn't install windows under EFI mode? (I didn't figure out how to make the windows EFI installed on the second SSD, so I chose to have a MBR installation)

I have a old early 2011 13'' MBP, and recently had 2 SSDs in it (1 in where the optical driver used to be), I have windows 10 installed on that SSD (not EFI) and Mac OS X 10.11 on another, do I need the DIY eGPU Setup? Thanks a lot.
