Well, after flashing this bios mod, i've tried to disable Intel HD by:

    1. Disabling only IGP

    2. Changing primary display to PEG

    3. Changing primary display to PEG, enabling PEG Workaround and Always Enable PEG

    4. Changing primary display to PEG and disabling IGP

    5. Changing primary display to PEG, disabling IGP, enabling PEG Workaround and Always Enable PEG

And yet, every path i took i got 8 beeps boot loop, having to reset the CMOS over and over and over again.

I also disconnected and re-connected the LCD cable, removed and inserted the GPU heat sink again, but no luck at all.

I just want to disable Intel HD and keep just my Nvidia card active, has anybody here got any success doing that?

I'm pretty confident you can't disable the IGP as the frame buffer is directed through the IGP to the LVDS interface. I think Sandy Bridge was the first generation to have this requirement. Hence why the R1, and R2's didn't need the IGP.

  2. You're probably going to run into a CPU performance issue long before you run into a 16GB RAM usage situation.

Is it worth upgrading to 16gb of RAM?

  3. Good day all!

I was hoping someone could please help me Modify my Vbios for my GM204 GTX 970M?

I'm fully aware their is a Sticky for the 970M, but that's only for the 6GB version. I've got the 3GB edition, from MSI.

I'm just looking for someone to remove the +135 Limitation and unlock the Vcore/TDP if possible.

If you could do the same as the official SVL7 but just for the 3GB MSI version I have, I would be very thankful!

(It wont for whatever reason allow me to upload directly, so here is a DropBox link)

Thank you very much, if you need any more information I'd be more than happy to provide it!
