  1. Alienware's desktops are HEAVILY overpriced. If you were to research the exact same parts in an alienware desktop online, you could shave off 20% of the cost (probably); however, their laptops imho are not overpriced as it is nearly impossible to create a custom laptop and finding the parts alone for a custom laptop is expensive.

  2. Sounds like an overheating issue but you mentioned that your PC remains cool. Which leads me to believe that the monitor is probably off or inaccurate when its near the freezing point. Otherwise if it is definitely not that, I would say there could be a possible problem with the GPU rendering certain frames. This sounds like a complicated problem and I can't think of any real solutions :/

  4. I think ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) is one of the BEST mmo experiences one can get. It is no longer on a "pay to play" subscription basis but rather a one time fee and play for free (like buying a normal video game). The gameplay mechanics remind me of Guild Wars 2 with an epic and actually interesting story and about as much to do as World of Warcraft!
