I recently downloaded the v3.08 BIOS from the lenovo site and it gave me an error at installation. Tried multiple times and reboots. I gave up on it and then glad it actually never installed because apparently doing the modded bios is the better way to go

I have had my y410p for over a year and havent had any issues with it. Mine has the 750M card in it. The battery life obviously isnt great but I usually have mine plugged in anyway so its not a deal breaker for me. It still feels fast and current til this day. Unlike a lot of others, i havent had my wireless card disconnect much but i'm still going to upgrade the wireless card simply because i want to upgrade to AC wireless.

I cant wait to do this. Tired of the factory network card and want to upgrade. It took me a while to figure out how to get to the BIOS on windows 8.1 but I have the good old v1.07. Kinda glad I didnt upgrade to the new v3.08
