Hi Gerald. I've also done research for ultrabay egpu for my y500.. Lenevo replace a "ultrabay slot gpu control software or circut" in motherboard. If your ultrabay gpu & e-gpu does not same to dGpu, pc don't boot.

iGPU has been disabled at the production stage. There's no way to activate it.

my pc: lenovo ideapad y500
friends pc: acer aspire 5750g
bios setting: legacy bios
we have mkdevcon error. because, we use windows7 turkish language version.
you say: for solution delete pci bus line in devcon.txt
we did it.
when pc rebooting there is no os selection between windows7 and eGPU-setup-1.30
where we make mistakes.
edit: problem solved. mbr recreated with bootice v1.3.3.2

hi, I have single gpu version of y500 (gt650m)
these are specially designed sockets for lenovo.
socket on the ultrabay gpu :
2199015-1 0.6 [.024], 0.8 [.031] Docking Connectors - TE
socket on the motherboard :
2199022-1 0.6 [.024], 0.8 [.031] Docking Connectors - TE

when y500/y510p owners try the sli with different ultrabay gpu (650m&750m or 750m&755m) an error message on screen at startup.
