So I'm planning to get a 27" or 24" monitor, but I only have enough in my budget to get something under $300. I do photo and video editing and play some light video games. Is it worth it to get a higher quality 24"? Or will I miss the extra 3"?

I don't know if this is what's happening to you, but with my new laptop, after I reformatted it, the boot up was much slower until I went through several rounds of windows updates and restarts. Now it's just a little slow after logging in. Might be Windows 8.1. I think my windows 8 PC with an older processor and less RAM is quicker.

Hi just bought a y410p off ebay. It's running great, except it came with a fresh install of windows 8.1 instead of a factory install. I have a few issues and concerns that I'm trying to work out with the seller. Just wondering it would be more worth it to get the recovery disks from Lenovo or just return it and get a brand new y40-80 straight from Lenovo. I originally got the y410p because I read that it has a better processor.

Hi! New here. Was wondering if anyone had issues getting the webcam to work in windows 8.1. I downloaded drivers from Lenovo, but just getting a blank screen. I'm trying to figure out if I have a hardware issue or software problem before I open it up or just give up and get a plug and play camera. Thanks!
