Sup people. I hope this doesn't go unaware. I've managed to successfully upgrade from a crappy 2230 centrino wireless card to an Azurewave - Broadcom BCM-4352, but I've seen that the wireless signal is poor (like 50% of what it originally was).
What could it be? Could it be the modified BIOS?
Thanks in advance!!!
Try to reinstall your new Azurewave - Broadcom card (may be it is poor connection in COaxial cable) or try other wi-fi card to discard problem with Azurewave - Broadcom or its drivers

I'm trying to use a Kali Linux live boot USB to set up dual booting. After the first attempt my bios told me that the boot method wasn't secure (paraphrasing after the fact) and now I can't even see my USB as a boot option (could be my live boot install)
Does this mod help at all?
try to disable UEFI boot and change compability mode from "Windows 8" to "other OS"

So what to do when BIOS is 3.07 ? Anyone can shed some light on this?
3.07 is not BIOS ver. 3.07 is REV.
You can find bios ver in 1st tab - not in Header
Lenovo Y410p / Y510p - unlocked BIOS / wlan whitelist mod / vbios mod

Hi! I have a question about flashing the ultra bay
after i put in dos commands
nvflash -a
there is 2 graphic adapters "0" and "1"
then i started to flash "1"
nvflash -i1 -r
nvflash -i1 --save xxxxxx.rom
nvflash -i1 -6 755mOC.rom
flashing was passed perfect!
when i wanted to start flash "0"
i put in
nvflash -i0 -r
and DOS writes that EEPROM is not supported
should I flash "0" at all? or it is good enough to flash only "1"?
