To add to what was stated above, the code in some games is just terribly optimized. Especially in unity, as the AI is just a CPU hog. So there's a possibility that your CPU is bottle necking. Not necessarily the case though, could well be just optimization/compatibility issues with your hardware.

Just wait! It could be super buggy and unoptimized! lol. Yeah super hyped, played so much on xbox 360 its going to be such a massive improvement considering i skipped the next gen version.

I personally cap my frame rate in almost any game, as my rig can get almost 60 always. I always turn v-sync on in the games' settings and then use dxtory to cap the frame rate at 59 fps (1 below my monitor's refresh rate) to eliminate mouse lag. All in all its a great setup and people should try it out if they're getting mouse lag. Plus, it eliminates a lot of unnecessary heat that you would normally get from running games at their maximum frame rate. Some games don't like the capping though, for some odd reason.

Alot of games really, such as the elder scrolls series, the fallout series(both with enb's of course). Also some other good games would be Payday 2, Borderlands, Battlefield, and so on... Although i cant really say for sure, as i dont know your hardware capabilities.

I know it doesn't really count, but Diablo 3 is a pretty good game, along with how the others said WoW. Also try rift, its free up on steam and i know a lot of people that are interested in it, just not my style personally.

I recently purchased an Alienware 17 with the m290x, which well, was shipped broken. Dell decided to ship me a new one with the 880m but so far I've had nothing but problems. When using stock drivers i get extreme throttling and all sorts of weird things, and when using the latest drivers i still get these random throttles down to 30fps. This seems to fix when i enable battery boost in Nvidia experience, set my frame rate preference to 60, then disable it again, but i still get random throttling for no reason(down to like 400mhz from 953mhz) when using either dell's 332.70 drivers or nvidia's 347.25 drivers. The card also never goes into boost mode of 993mhz unless i attempt to overclock it, which then of course it starts crashing because i cant modify voltage. This has just been a giant mess. Does anyone know how to fix these issues, or have had the same issues? If so how have you resolved them?

Im pretty sure this problem relates to a vbios issue, as i have seen some posts by others, but i dont have any clue how to fix it.

Does anyone have a guide on overclocking the gtx 880m? And if so may i please have a link? Also, does this modded vbios fix the whole throttling issue with the card, or does it just allow better overclocking and whatnot? (And overall greater stability and eprformance?)
