I just bought i new imac, install my FCP 7.0.3 and having issues with playing back video in both viewer and canvas. Footage appears with a video glitch type of line that goes on and off.Also im getting lots of "out of memory" messages. please HELP! When I play the clips in quicktime outside of FCP they play fine and when FCP export them sometimes they play fine sometimes they have issues.

I didnt have this problems with my old snow leopard but that computer is having issues because its old so i had to change to the new ones.

I work with 3 G drives daisy chained to the computer.

Please help! Im finishing up a feature film and Im worrying I have no way to go with this situation. The new computer is giving trouble, the old one is giving me trouble!
