Not so good to be not portable with amplifier.

If you want to change wirless card you have to mod your bios to unlock possibility to replace yours. But as temporary solution you can turn off bluetooth in device manager, It helped me, now it works well, but slow.

I have same issue with my y500. Somebody from official lenovo forum found that lenovo made a mistake with isolating the touchpad and issue occurs with ELAN touchpads.

I was researching this thing over hackintosh forum and about half year ago I've got answer that it is impossible to install hackintosh to mine y500 with fully supported hardware like SLI

I think that could be problem with power supply. It would be useful if you can get a log of plug-in of your power supply.
