Most of shutdown Error bc the OS in your laptop . Sometime the laptop need re-install the OS . How long the Lap' OS run ?

I think you need replance one SSD . 64GB is good for Windows running . you can remove DVD device and put SSD via bay .

After , I have 5s to boot from BIOS to windows 8.1 Pro .
